I don't think words can truly express the profound sadness and loss that we experience here today. It came as a total shock to me (perhaps just like anybody else) to find out the sudden unexpected passing of Shirley. As I struggle to find the right words, there is simply no way to describe this situation adequately. Shirley was a wonderful person. Unlike some, I haven't known Shirley for a long time, perhaps the last 2-3 years. But despite the short time that I have known her, I already knew that she was a kind, friendly and intelligent person. I personally regret that I am not going to have the opportunity to get to know her even better. Thank you Shirley for sharing your brief time with us. We will all miss you very much.
